Wandering Earl Travel Email
Hey,

Two days ago we finally caught a glimpse of the beach here in Bali. Standing on the beach is still not allowed but there's an area where you can stand (legally) at the edge of the sand behind a gate.

Watching the sunset over the water after so long honestly felt like landing on a new planet. It was a good reminder about not taking things for granted!

Traveling with a kitten
Since I plan to take our kitten to the US, I began doing research on traveling with a cat. Interestingly, the US is very relaxed and most states don't even require a health certificate to import one. However, finding an airline that allows pets in the cabin, especially during this situation and in this region, is a challenge. If you have any pet travel tips, please do share!

Small destinations to check out
I'm not a big city guy. I prefer smaller destinations. So, looking for some inspiration yesterday, I put a call out on Facebook, asking for everyone's favorite smaller destinations around the world. Inspiration was served in the form of over 150 comments, with a lot of intriguing places I didn't know much about before!

Updated Travel Restrictions
I found this interactive travel regulations map created by IATA. It contains the most recent information that each country has announced in terms of entry rules for travelers during this unique time.
